Fast-track consultation (appointments within the next 7 days)

  • It is recommended that travellers enquire about travel services six to eight weeks in advance of their travels. However, if you are going on a last-minute trip we can still help, by making consultations available within 48 hours of your enquiry. If you require this fast-track service, simply choose your preferred date and time for an appointment with one of our expert travel pharmacists, who will review your travel itinerary, medical history and vaccination history, and let you know exactly what you need to stay safe and well abroad, even on a limited time scale. Any vaccinations or medication you require can be administered during your 40 minute consultation, with follow up appointments arranged if possible / required.
  • Please bear in mind that vaccinations given less than 10 – 14 days before travel may not provide full immunity. However, at least partial immunity can be achieved, and this will continue to build up over time as you begin your trip.
  • The fast-track consultation fee is paid in addition to the cost of any travel services you decide to receive.
  • The consultation fee you pay upon booking is non-refundable if you choose not to receive any services following your consultation, or fail to attend your booked appointment.

If you think you require vaccination against yellow fever, as this is a specialist vaccination that requires a thorough risk assessment, please return to the home page and click on the Yellow Fever Centre option, to book an appointment with the trained yellow fever pharmacist. Please be aware that the yellow fever vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before entering a yellow fever risk area. You do not need to book a separate appointment for any other vaccinations you may require – the yellow fever pharmacist can advise on and administer them all in one appointment.
