- Yellow Fever Clinic
- The York Travel Clinic is a specialist yellow fever centre that can offer the following services:
- Yellow fever vaccination only (this service includes the issuing of the International Yellow Fever Certificate, as proof of vaccination)
- Yellow fever vaccination plus other travel / vaccination services (this also includes the issuing of the Yellow Fever Certificate).
- Re-issuing a lost or stolen Yellow Fever Certificate
- Evidence of the batch number, date of vaccination and brand of vaccination required.
- Medical Letters of Exemption
- These are issued to patients who should not receive the yellow fever vaccine on medical grounds, at the discretion of the yellow fever pharmacist. A robust risk assessment is required. If another medical professional has advised that you need an exemption, the yellow fever pharmacist must still conduct their own risk assessment before the exemption is issued.
- The consultation fee you pay upon booking will be deducted from the cost of any travel services you receive from the clinic, though this is non-refundable if you choose not to receive any services following your consultation or fail to attend your booked appointment.
- In order to have a productive and efficient consultation, please ensure you know which countries you are travelling to and which destinations within those countries you will be visiting.
- Please be aware that the yellow fever vaccination certificate is issued with ‘valid from date’ which is 10 days after vaccination, so planning ahead is recommended.
